LOCATION OF ITALY

Italy is a European country, located on the Italian Peninsula in Southern Europe. Sicily and Sardinia, two biggest islands in the Mediterranean Sea, are the parts of Italy.

It is bounded by France, Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia to the north. The Apennine Mountains form the peninsula's backbone; the Alps form its northern boundary.

Italy occupies an elongated boot-shaped peninsula, surrounded on the west by the Tyrrheian Sea and on the east by the Adriatic Sea.

LOCATION OF TURKEY

Turkey is a Eurasian country which is like a bridge between east and west.

The European part of Turkey is called Thrace (Trakya) and the Asian part is called Anatolia (Anadolu).

Turkey is bordered by eight countries: Bulgaria and Greece to the west, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Iran to the east, Syria and Iraq to the southeast.

Anatolia peninsula is surrendered by Black Sea, Aegean Sea and Mediterranean Sea. Also, Turkey has an inner sea, Marmara Sea.
